What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring multiple Quality, Laboratory & R&D Specialists for onsite roles in Altoona, WI. Openings range from entry-level to mid-level and span Quality, Laboratory, Food Safety, and R&D functions. Typical responsibilities (role-dependent) include:
- Perform laboratory testing, sampling, in-process inspections, and product/material evaluations
- Support Quality, Food Safety, GMP, sanitation, and environmental monitoring programs
- Assist with R&D testing, product/process development, trials, and technical documentation
- Review production, laboratory, and batch documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Support deviations, investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA activities
- Partner with Quality, Production, Laboratory, and R&D teams to troubleshoot and improve processes
- Maintain accurate records, support SOPs, audits, calibration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
We welcome recent graduates and experienced professionals. Typical qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science; entry-level candidates encouraged
- For mid-level roles, prior experience in quality, food safety, laboratory testing, R&D, or regulated manufacturing preferred
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, organization, and communication skills
- Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, FDA requirements, CAPA, or quality systems is a plus
- Experience with laboratory or quality management systems and data-management tools is a plus
- Able to work fully onsite in Altoona, WI
Pay & Benefits
- Contract-to-hire
- Pay range: $25.00 - $35.58 per hour. Final offer will depend on experience, location, and job-specific factors.
