What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Quality & Engineering Technician in Pooler, GA. In this hands-on role you will support quality inspection and engineering activities across production and supplier parts, gaining practical experience with inspection equipment, quality systems, and manufacturing-quality documentation.
- Inspect incoming and inventory products to ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for attribute and variable inspection
- Review engineering drawings and product specifications; apply basic GD&T concepts
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and product traceability
- Identify and document product defects, supplier discrepancies, and quality concerns
- Assist with investigating quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions
- Support customer quality deliverables such as FAI, PPAP, and control plans
- Participate in ISO 9001 quality management activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Receive specialized training in precision manufacturing and inspection processes from engineering leadership
What We’re Looking For
Education & Technical Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Ability to read and interpret basic GD&T concepts
- Interest in quality assurance, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles
