Responsibilities

We are hiring an entry-level Quality Engineer to help ensure software quality, reliability, and performance for a confidential client. This is a hands-on QA role with opportunities to contribute to manual and automation testing efforts.

• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues
• Test across different browsers and devices and validate cross-platform behavior
• Maintain test documentation and testing reports
• Participate in requirements and design reviews
• Support automation testing initiatives when required
• Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes

Required Qualifications

• 0–4 years experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of Software Testing, SDLC, and STLC
• Practical knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case design
• Understanding of SQL and database fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn test automation and collaborate in cross-functional teams

Nice-to-Have / Tools

• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar)
• Familiarity with Jira, Selenium, or comparable QA tools
• Any exposure to test automation frameworks or scripting is a plus

Compensation

• Estimated base salary (as listed by source): $81,559 per year (estimated)
• Exact compensation and benefits will be determined by the confidential client and compliant with state and federal requirements.
