Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Quality Engineer in Germantown, WI. This role supports the Quality Notification process, investigates internal and external customer quality issues, develops corrective and preventative actions, and helps maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS). This is a full-time role with hybrid work based in Germantown, WI. Estimated pay: $76,037 per year (estimated).
Responsibilities
- Investigate root causes and implement corrective/preventative actions for material or process quality issues.
- Track corrective actions and verify completion and effectiveness.
- Support development and execution of streamlined manufacturing and business processes to mitigate quality risks.
- Maintain QMS documentation and related records to support AS9120 / ISO 9001 compliance.
- Lead internal audits and participate in external audits, including document review, employee interviews, corrective action assignment, follow-up, and report writing.
- Disposition non-conforming material and participate in deviation processes; assess costs, responsibility, and corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a quality or engineering-related role (associate/entry-level candidates with 0+ years may be considered).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes (8D methodology experience preferred).
- Familiarity with Lean principles and experience in multidisciplinary environments.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work under pressure while prioritizing workload.
- Experience in chemical, assembly, machining, or distribution environments preferred.
- Occasional travel up to 10%.
