Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer role supports manufacturing engineering by focusing on quality and process improvement initiatives under the guidance of experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Support analysis of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems to identify opportunities for quality and process improvements.
- Assist in feasibility studies and validation activities for proposed engineering solutions.
- Create, revise, and evaluate engineering standards, specifications, and quality documentation.
- Perform inspections and quality assessments of products, processes, equipment, or installations under senior engineer direction.
- Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions to meet quality and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers as a point of contact when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and change management efforts.
- Maintain and use knowledge management and documentation systems.
- Support product development, process validation, and engineering projects by analyzing requirements and providing technical input.
- Assist with project execution following established plans, schedules, and objectives.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Communications, or a related technical discipline.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; internship, co-op, or hands-on manufacturing/engineering experience is preferred.

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay rate: $34.00 – $36.00 USD per hour (base pay; benefits not included)
- Duration: 1+ year contract
- Employment type: Full-time (Onsite)
- Shift: 1st Shift — 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance may be available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements
Location & Onsite Requirements
- Onsite in Center Grove, IA. Candidates must be able to work at the client facility as required.
