What You’ll Do

This Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Quality Control Laboratory Technician for an onsite, contract role in High Point, NC. You will perform routine and validated chemical and physical testing that supports product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical environment.

  • Perform identity, strength, purity and impurity testing of raw materials and finished products using chromatography, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry methods
  • Execute validated compendial and internally developed analytical methods and follow SOPs
  • Record and review data carefully, flagging out-of-spec or non-routine results and escalating when needed
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments to ensure accurate results
  • Maintain complete, compliant lab documentation aligned with GMP/GLP requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment and follow all safety procedures
  • Communicate results and issues clearly with QC staff and cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline (required)

Experience & Skills

  • Entry-level — no prior lab experience required; recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and laboratory data systems is a plus
  • Basic exposure to chromatographic techniques or lab instrumentation is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently while managing priorities
  • Analytical mindset and commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Details

  • Location: High Point, NC (onsite)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Employment type: Contract (temporary)
  • Pay: $24.50 / hour
