What You’ll Do

This is an onsite, full-time contract opportunity supporting the Quality Control team at a Confidential Client in the life sciences / biotechnology space. You will perform routine laboratory testing and sample handling to help ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

• Perform routine laboratory procedures to support Quality Control testing
• Collect, process, label and track samples per SOPs
• Operate and maintain benchtop and specialized instrumentation
• Document, compute, compile, interpret and enter data into computerized systems accurately
• Follow and help implement controlled document changes when required
• Comply with safety guidelines and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and applicable CFRs

Qualifications

Candidates who meet one of the following education / experience combinations are encouraged to apply:

• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Associate’s degree plus 6+ months lab experience OR
• High school diploma/GED plus 2+ years lab experience

Other required skills and attributes:

• Some hands‑on laboratory experience (academic, internship, or professional)
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to follow written procedures and accurately record results
• Willingness and ability to work onsite and adhere to shift schedule

Preferred / Nice-to-have

• Internship or prior QC lab experience in biotech / pharma
• Benchtop testing experience or exposure to instruments such as GC‑MS or HPLC
• Experience working under cGMP/CFR-regulated conditions

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: up to $31.43 per hour (hourly max as stated by the client)
• Estimated annual pay (for reference): $58,022 per year — estimated
• Contract length: 12+ months (contractor status)
• Typical benefits (when applicable to the staffing arrangement): Medical, Dental, Vision, Sick Pay (where applicable)

• Shift options: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM OR 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
