What You’ll Do
This entry-level Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role supports test automation and manual testing efforts for a Confidential Client in the IT industry. Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and suites for web and API components (Selenium or similar).
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and API tests.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Create and maintain clear test cases, scenarios, and test data.
- Analyze test results and prepare testing reports and documentation.
- Support release and regression testing; validate functionality across environments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Perform manual testing when automation coverage is not available.
- Contribute to expanding automation coverage and improving testing practices.
Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 0–3 years of QA/testing experience — fresh graduates and recent grads are welcome.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Basic programming knowledge (Java preferred); ability to learn test automation frameworks.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in Agile teams.
