Overview

This is an entry-level QC Lab Technician role supporting microbiology and environmental monitoring in a controlled laboratory/manufacturing environment. You will perform routine microbiological and environmental testing per standard operating procedures, maintain records, prepare supplies for sterilization, and support the QC Micro lab. Training — including radiation safety training where applicable — will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs bioburden, bacterial endotoxin, and sterility testing per SOPs
• Conducts viable and non‑viable environmental monitoring and reads/interprets results
• Operates non‑viable particle counters and facility monitoring systems
• Performs computer data entry and maintains accurate records (Microsoft Excel, MODA)
• Performs sanitation and prepares supplies for autoclave sterilization and depyrogenation
• Assists with stocking and supplying the QC Micro lab
• Follows all safety procedures; receives training and PPE before working near radiation sources
• Works in a fast‑paced environment and supports team quality goals

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field preferred (Biological Sciences advantageous) — relevant academic lab experience counts
• Experience or coursework in microbiology, biology, or laboratory methods is preferred but not required
• Comfortable with computer data entry (Excel); familiarity with MODA is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and following written procedures
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the local language
• Willingness to complete required safety training (including radiation safety where applicable)

Working Conditions & Schedule

• Onsite, full‑time (40 hours/week, typically 5 days/week)
• Laboratory/manufacturing environment with controlled areas
• Some roles may require work around radiation sources — training and protective measures provided

Compensation

• Estimated annual pay: $30,561 (estimated). This posting reflects an employer-provided estimate — exact pay will be determined by the Confidential Client based on experience and other factors.
