Overview
Confidential Client is hiring entry‑level QA Software Testers to join distributed teams supporting software development across the organization. This is a great role for recent graduates, career changers, or professionals with up to 3 years of relevant experience who want hands‑on QA experience and career growth.
What You’ll Do
You will work across QA, development, and business teams to validate software and help deliver high‑quality releases.
- Manual software testing and exploratory testing
- Write, maintain, and execute test cases
- Functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Work in Jira within Agile/Scrum teams
- Perform API and database validation
- Contribute to basic automation test scripts and learn automation frameworks
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re focused on aptitude and potential as much as prior QA experience.
- Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance
- 0–3 years of experience in QA, software testing, IT, or related fields (recent grads and career changers encouraged)
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with SDLC/STLC, test cases, and defect reporting preferred
- Exposure to Manual Testing, Jira, SQL, API testing, or basic automation is a plus
- Comfortable working independently in remote or hybrid environments
- Willingness to complete a technical readiness assessment
