What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level QA Software Testers for roles based in Charlotte, NC with remote/hybrid flexibility for some positions. This hiring pathway is suitable for recent graduates, career-changers, and candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience. Selected applicants may move directly into employer interviews or participate in an optional paid QA Training & Placement Support Program to build technical readiness.

• Manual software testing and execution of test cases
• Functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Defect identification, triage, and reporting using Jira or similar tools
• Basic API and database validation (e.g., SQL-based checks)
• Support basic automation tasks (Selenium, Playwright/Cypress or similar) and work with QA automation engineers to maintain scripts
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts within Agile/Scrum teams
• Participate in test planning, test data preparation, and test result documentation

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, IT, or related fields (suitable for entry-level applicants)
• Strong interest in quality assurance and attention to detail
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC, test case design, and defect reporting concepts
• Exposure to Manual Testing; experience with Jira, SQL, API testing, or automation is a plus
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and analytical problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently in remote or hybrid settings when required
• Willingness to complete a technical readiness assessment as part of the process
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for every opportunity

Candidates who demonstrate aptitude but need additional technical preparation may be offered access to an optional paid QA Training & Placement Support Program covering:

• Manual testing fundamentals, test case design, and defect reporting
• Automation basics (Selenium, Java) and modern JS-based tools (Playwright/Cypress)
• API testing and SQL for data validation
• CI/CD concepts (Jenkins), version control (Git/GitHub), and AI-assisted QA tools
• Mock interviews, resume & LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation
• Job-search and employer submission support from recruiters

The training program is optional and paid; applicants who already meet employer requirements will not be required to enroll.
