What You’ll Do

This is a full-time, remote-friendly (telecommute) engineering role supporting mission-critical projects for intelligence and defense customers. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle — design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance — working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Build and integrate solutions in cloud-native environments
• Develop RESTful APIs and contribute to data models using databases such as MongoDB
• Work with web frameworks (Django or Flask) to deliver web services and internal tools
• Integrate or prototype AI/ML components into production workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverables
• Participate in code reviews, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Follow secure development practices required for work in classified/controlled environments

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with Django or Flask (or similar web frameworks)
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with NoSQL/DB technologies (e.g., MongoDB)
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and deployment (containers, orchestration, CI/CD)
• Demonstrated experience in testing, debugging, and code review practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaborative teams

Clearance & Eligibility

• Must currently possess a TS/SCI clearance with a Full-Scope Polygraph.
• Candidates must be eligible to work on classified contracts as required by the client. (Possession of the stated clearance is mandatory unless otherwise noted in the posting.)
