What You’ll Do
As a Python AI Full Stack Engineer working with Confidential Client, you will design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications that integrate AI/LLM capabilities and cloud services. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, well-tested solutions and help shape engineering best practices.
- Architect, build, and maintain backend services (Python preferred) and frontend features (TypeScript/React or Angular).
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities, including prompt orchestration, agent frameworks, and evaluation tooling.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices; implement data pipelines and ETL for model inputs/outputs.
- Work with vector and NoSQL databases as well as traditional SQL databases.
- Deploy and maintain solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
- Write readable, maintainable, and testable code; own automated testing, logging, monitoring, and reliability practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, pair-programming, code reviews, and cross-team design discussions.
- Mentor peers, contribute to architecture decisions, and help evaluate new AI/ML frameworks and platforms.
What We’re Looking For
We want experienced full-stack engineers who can move fluidly between frontend, backend, and AI integration work.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience building full-stack applications.
- Proficiency in Python and strong backend design skills.
- Experience with one or more of: Java (Spring), C#/.NET, Node.js.
- Frontend experience with TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Next.js).
- Practical experience with databases: SQL, NoSQL, and vector DBs.
- Hands-on with LLM/AI stacks: model integration, prompt orchestration, agent frameworks, or MCPs.
- Experience deploying to and operating services on Azure, AWS, or GCP; familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
- Strong emphasis on automated testing, monitoring, and system reliability.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams and participating in sprint ceremonies.
- Excellent communication skills in English; able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Preferred / Nice-to-have:
- Experience with evaluation frameworks for LLMs and production-focused prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Tailwind, Next.js, or server-side rendering patterns.
- Prior experience working on enterprise-scale AI or large-data systems.
Workplace & Travel
- Location: Texas (role will be listed for Texas, TX). Candidate should be willing to travel across U.S. locations as required for projects.
