Purchasing Administrator
The Purchasing Administrator at Confidential Client supports the Purchasing Department by managing supplier communications, preparing RFQs, monitoring orders, and coordinating inventory scheduling to ensure stock levels meet demand. This on-site role requires strong administrative, problem-solving, and communication skills to maintain effective supplier relationships and support procurement operations within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
This on-site role supports the Purchasing / Procurement team for a confidential client in the engineering sector. Key responsibilities include:
- Send out RFQs and manage bid solicitations
- Prepare and package RFQ data and supporting documents
- Generate and distribute Open Order Reports to suppliers
- Monitor order status; highlight problems and escalate to the Procurement Team Lead
- Maintain professional supplier relationships and clear, timely communication
- Liaise with planners to coordinate part scheduling and help maintain stock buffers
- Review Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and withhold tags; communicate corrective actions to suppliers
- Update suppliers with engineering changes and revised drawings
- Complete assigned projects and other duties to support the procurement team
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications and attributes that lead to success in this role:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- This position may be filled by entry-level or experienced candidates
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple administrative procurement tasks
- Comfortable working on-site in Huntington Beach, CA; may require extended or irregular hours
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour
