What You’ll Do

This early‑career Public Health Researcher / Social Science Research Associate role supports ongoing health outcomes, healthcare quality improvement, and health policy work for a Confidential Client. You will apply standard social science methods to support projects from data collection through reporting, ensuring quality and organization across assigned activities.

  • Support stakeholder-engaged activities (focus groups, technical expert panels, committee meetings)
  • Collect, organize, and maintain research data and project materials
  • Contribute to literature reviews, environmental scans, and summaries
  • Assist with qualitative analysis and documentation of findings
  • Help develop technical reports, white papers, and peer-reviewed manuscripts
  • Test and provide feedback on data collection systems and instruments
  • Maintain high technical quality, confidentiality, and professionalism on all work products

Who You Are / Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
  • Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks across multiple projects and collaborate with internal and client teams
  • Must be a U.S. Person as required by U.S. export control laws

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing technical reports related to health outcomes
  • Experience collecting data from human subjects (focus groups, interviews, cognitive interviews, surveys)
  • Familiarity with qualitative analysis methods
  • Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule
  • Prior experience contributing to manuscripts, white papers, or government proposals

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year (Confidential Client is committed to fair and equitable compensation; actual offer will reflect experience, location, and other factors)
