What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high-quality outpatient therapy services. This role focuses on patient assessment, individualized treatment planning, and hands-on therapeutic care to support recovery and functional goals.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and caregivers
- Provide therapeutic interventions, manual therapy, and supervised exercise programs
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with policy
- Participate in patient/family conferences, in-service programs, and team meetings
- Supervise and coordinate student and volunteer programs as assigned
- Assist with departmental operations including scheduling and coverage to meet productivity standards
- Maintain and leverage community resources and referral networks
Schedule
- Part-time role operating on a 5-day schedule
- Typical shift: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8-hour shift)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and patient-education abilities
- Experience or interest in outpatient orthopaedic/rehabilitation care preferred
