Overview

This early-career sales opportunity is part of a structured 12-month sales development program designed to prepare high-potential candidates for a Territory Sales Representative role. The program combines classroom training, field shadowing, and hands-on operational experience across equipment rental and specialty services. This role is ideal for motivated, competitive candidates who want a defined path into sales and sales leadership within a large national organization.


What You’ll Do

  • Participate in a structured sales training program focused on professional selling skills, account management, territory planning, and customer engagement.
  • Learn the client’s full equipment and services portfolio, including specialty divisions (industrial, entertainment, energy, national accounts).
  • Shadow Territory Sales Representatives in the field to observe customer interactions and best practices.
  • Visit job sites with sales leaders to understand project needs and equipment applications.
  • Support customer outreach and lead generation efforts to drive revenue within assigned territories.
  • Learn core branch operations—equipment processes, logistics coordination, and customer service—to build a well-rounded view of the business.
  • Receive regular coaching and performance feedback with a clear progression path toward full-time Territory Sales Representative placement and future leadership roles.

Qualifications

  • 0–5 years of sales or other customer-facing experience; recent graduates and early-career candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • Interest in a long-term sales career with willingness to relocate or work across multiple locations as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $28.85 per hour (listed pay). Actual offer may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.
