Responsibilities

Confidential Client is seeking a Property Accountant to support regional property accounting operations from their corporate office (hybrid schedule) in Centennial, CO. As a key member of the accounting team you will:

• Provide accounting support for multiple properties in an assigned region
• Maintain general ledger entries and prepare property financial statements
• Complete all monthly accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and analysis of Yardi-RM reports
• Process accounts payable and handle security deposit accounting activities
• Continuously review general ledger activity and financial reports for reasonableness and accuracy
• Work closely with on-site property teams to identify and resolve accounting issues
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed
• Attend and participate in property management meetings to stay informed on operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field required
• Minimum 6 months of accounting experience or relevant internship experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel
• Experience or familiarity with Yardi-RM is a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule based in Centennial, CO and collaborate with remote and on-site teams

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 per year (range provided by Confidential Client)
