What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for a hands-on Project Scheduler who will create and maintain master schedules for commercial and mission‑critical construction projects (including data centers). You will partner with project teams to define schedule structure, monitor progress, and help keep projects on track.

• Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules for active construction projects
• Develop schedule structure and layout with the Project Team before detailed scope-based planning
• Track milestones, compare actual progress to plan, and identify schedule deviations
• Coordinate sequencing, manpower timing, and major milestones with project teams
• Participate in internal scheduling meetings and keep schedule updates accurate and current
• Prepare monthly schedule reporting and project-specific schedule updates
• Review subcontractor schedules and recommend improvements to align with the master schedule
• Support superintendents with 3‑week look‑ahead schedules to align field planning with the master project schedule
• Travel to job sites as needed to monitor progress and validate sequencing in the field
• Maintain organized records of schedule updates, revisions, and historical performance data
• Support multiple projects concurrently while learning scheduling best practices and reporting methods

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience
• 1–5 years of scheduling experience with a General Contractor
• Direct experience supporting data center construction, mission‑critical, or highly technical commercial projects
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) — required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus
• High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within project teams and manage assignments independently
• Ability and willingness to travel to project sites nationwide and walk job sites as needed
• Familiarity with Procore and BIM for sequencing and coordination is a plus
• Internship or entry‑level experience with a general contractor or construction manager is preferred

Compensation & Employment Type

• Typical base compensation: $90,000 — $110,000 (candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range).
• This role is posted as a contract engagement. In addition to base pay, the role is eligible for discretionary bonus compensation and benefits as described above.

• Location (authoritative): Woodridge, IL (work may require travel to other job sites nationwide).
