Position summary
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Project Quotations & Management specialist in Tacoma, WA. This full-time, in-person role blends sales-facing quoting (small to large switchgear and lighting) with project management of awarded work. You'll receive hands-on training and be part of a team that supports projects from takeoff through completion.
Compensation & Schedule
This is a Monday–Friday, daytime, full-time position in Tacoma, WA.
- Pay: $50,000 – $55,000 per year, plus profit sharing.
- Eligible for benefits described below.
What You’ll Do
You will work on quotations and manage awarded projects, collaborating with internal sales, customers, and vendors to deliver electrical solutions.
- Produce accurate quotations for switchgear and lighting projects (small to large).
- Perform project takeoffs and prepare detailed estimates.
- Coordinate vendors, internal teams, and customer expectations during project execution.
- Track project timelines, materials, and deliverables to completion.
- Support sales efforts by communicating technical details and solution recommendations to customers.
- Work safely in a distribution/warehouse environment when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1–2 years professional experience (project estimation, project management, B2B sales, or other customer-facing roles preferred).
- Strong interest in sales, customer service, and achieving measurable results.
- Willingness to work in a distribution/warehouse environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs.; ability to operate warehouse equipment (training provided).
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
