Project Coordination & Execution

Confidential Client seeks an entry-level Project Manager to coordinate internal execution projects across Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations. This role keeps initiatives organized, on schedule, and moving forward by facilitating communication and tracking progress across cross-functional teams.

  • Coordinate cross-functional internal projects and ensure alignment between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations
  • Support development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and milestones for assigned initiatives
  • Track tasks, deliverables, and deadlines; identify and flag risks and delays to stakeholders
  • Schedule and facilitate cross-functional project meetings; prepare agendas, notes, and action items
  • Monitor task completion and follow up with team members to keep projects on track
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and assist in identifying resource needs and constraints

Communication & Reporting

  • Serve as a central point of contact for assigned projects between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and next steps
  • Escalate issues promptly to the VP of Operations or appropriate stakeholders
  • Support creation of return-to-green plans when projects fall behind plan

Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve internal project coordination processes and workflows
  • Support implementation of process improvements led by senior team members
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution and hand-offs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Entry-level candidates welcome; up to two (2) years of project coordination or project management experience preferred, especially in manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting status updates to cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, co-op, or coursework in project management, engineering, or manufacturing
  • Interest in pursuing project management certifications (CAPM, PMP, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen)
  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Intuitive, Empower, OpenAir, or similar)

Salary & Benefits

  • Starting pay: $68,000+ (starting salary information provided by client)

Work Location & Schedule

  • This is an on-site, full-time position based in Eden Prairie, MN
  • Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some flexibility; occasional extended hours or infrequent travel may be required

Physical Demands

  • Regular use of hands/fingers for keyboarding and operating tools or controls; occasional lifting or moving up to 10 pounds
