What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate internal execution projects across Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations for Confidential Client.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for assigned internal initiatives.
  • Track tasks, deadlines, risks, and dependencies; flag delays and escalate when necessary.
  • Schedule and facilitate cross-functional project meetings; prepare agendas, publish meeting notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and assist in identifying resource needs and constraints.
  • Prepare and distribute regular status updates (progress, risks, action items) to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support creation of “return-to-green” plans when projects fall behind commitments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Entry-level to early-career candidates welcome; up to 2 years of project coordination or project management experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing or engineering environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting status updates to cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project-management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams.
  • Must meet the definition of “US Person” under ITAR/EAR regulations (work authorization requirement).

Preferred

  • Coursework, internship, or co-op experience in project management, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Interest in pursuing project-management certification (CAPM, PMP, Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen).
  • Exposure to an ERP system (Intuitive, Empower, OpenAir, or similar).

Details & Compensation

  • Employment type: Full-time (contractor classification noted by client).
  • Location: On-site — Eden Prairie, MN office.
  • Typical hours: Monday–Friday, ~8:00am–5:00pm (some flexibility; may require >40 hours occasionally).
  • Starting salary information provided by client: $68,000+.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds.
  • Work is primarily in an office environment; some assignments may require protective equipment (e.g., eye protection).
