Overview

Confidential Client seeks an entry-level Project Manager to support commercial structured cabling and telecom infrastructure projects in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time role offers hands-on exposure to estimating, scheduling, field coordination, and project documentation—ideal for recent graduates or candidates with limited professional experience who want to grow into construction/project management roles.

What You’ll Do

You will support project teams across commercial construction and low-voltage infrastructure projects, working closely with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to help deliver projects on time and on budget.

• Support daily field operations across cabling, security, CCTV, audiovisual, and fire alarm systems
• Analyze drawings and technical specifications to prepare supporting estimates
• Monitor project budgets, generate material requests, and assist with invoicing and documentation
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to track timelines and deliverables
• Assist in developing baseline schedules and managing change order processes
• Travel to local and occasional out-of-state job sites as needed
• Maintain detailed records and provide timely updates on milestones and financials
• Assist with contract preparation and subcontractor coordination
• Ensure work complies with industry standards and safety guidelines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Technical aptitude for reading blueprints, specifications, and infrastructure layouts
• Problem-solving mindset and practical follow-through
• Collaborative, team-first approach
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; familiarity with MS Project or other project-management tools is a plus

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Wi‑Fi infrastructure, data center, or telecom environments
• 1+ year relevant experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or field support
