Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Project Management Analyst (Level 2) to support Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Research & Development efforts. This is a full-time role that may be based near Fort Belvoir, VA (22060) or performed remotely (telecommute eligible). The role supports program and project activities across DLA R&D initiatives, acting as a liaison among stakeholders, government working groups, industry, and academia.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary liaison between program stakeholders, project participants, government working groups, industry partners, and academic collaborators.
- Facilitate and coordinate meetings, briefings, and working sessions.
- Track and report program and project objectives, milestones, metrics, risks, and strategic alignment.
- Prepare and submit presentations, assessments, monthly status reports, and brief summaries for leadership and project managers.
- Conduct research and analysis on current and emerging technologies to inform program decisions.
- Support resolution of operational issues; develop intervention mechanisms and problem-solving approaches to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
- Assist with budget and schedule tracking and prepare project status updates for program leadership.
Who You Are / Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; OR 1 year relevant experience with a Master’s degree; OR High School diploma (or equivalent) with 7 years relevant experience.
- Project/program management or engineering experience is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET government security clearance.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across distributed teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer-focused skills.
Working Conditions & Location
- Location: Fort Belvoir, VA (22060) — Remote work is eligible (telecommute).
- Travel: 0–10% as required by program needs.
- Physical demands: Primarily office/remote work; may require minor lifting (boxes or equipment).
- Eligibility: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.; ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance is required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Anticipated salary range: $60,769 – $80,000 per year (good-faith estimate based on location, responsibilities, and experience). Final offer will consider candidate experience, qualifications, and other factors.
