Role Overview

Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring an Entry‑Level Project Engineer to join construction project teams across the North Texas region. This role supports site delivery through document control, coordination, procurement, QA/QC, surveying and safety management. This is a full‑time, entry‑level position based in Sherman, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Document control: RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, and related logs
• Support daily project coordination and communication across teams
• Procurement support for construction materials and tracking deliveries
• Perform Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks on work in progress
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and trade partners
• Assist with survey, project layout and weekly progress photo documentation
• Manage construction equipment scheduling and tracking
• Support site safety management and help enforce project safety plans
• Assist with project estimating and cost tracking as required

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience (internship, co‑op, or full‑time experience acceptable)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable with document control, basic estimating and field coordination
• Ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary project teams
• Willingness to relocate if specific roles require it
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site access

• Employment Type: Full‑time
• Estimated Compensation: $107,336 per year (estimated; provided by source)
