What You’ll Do

The Project Engineer will support engineering projects from concept through completion. This role partners with senior engineers, project managers, technicians, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to help drive technical tasks, maintain schedules, and support successful project delivery.

• Support engineering projects through design, development, testing, and production activities
• Assist with creating and maintaining project schedules, action-item lists, and project documentation
• Coordinate technical activities between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and internal teams
• Track tasks, milestones, and deliverables to help keep projects on schedule
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project status updates
• Help resolve technical issues and document solutions
• Support customer and supplier communications as directed by senior engineers or project leadership
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, presentations, and technical deliverables
• Work with CAD models, drawings, and engineering data to support project objectives
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and greater project efficiency
• Collaborate on prototype development, testing, and iterative product improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• 1–2 years of engineering experience (industry, internships, co-ops, or research)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment
• Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to composite structures, pressure vessels, aerospace products, or mechanical systems
• Experience with Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and GD&T
• Basic understanding of project scheduling and coordination concepts
• Experience supporting prototype builds, testing, or product development efforts
