What You’ll Do

This Project Engineer will support Special Execution (SpX) programs that turn merchandising, promotional, and customer-specific needs into executable manufacturing and distribution solutions. You’ll work cross-functionally to prepare items for production, validate build requirements, and drive projects from intake through execution readiness.

• Support small-to-medium SpX projects from intake to execution readiness, clarifying timelines, owners, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Packaging Engineering, Channel, Customer Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Master Scheduling, Master Data, Finance, Quality, Operations, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with kit and item setup: item structures, work definitions, packaging inputs, production documentation, and execution details needed for planning and manufacturing.
• Create and maintain project plans, trackers, and action logs to support cost, schedule, quality, and execution targets.
• Monitor project progress, provide clear status updates, and escalate risks early with context, options, and recommended next steps.
• Partner with manufacturing teams and suppliers to validate build requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support production readiness.
• Review intake requests, dashboards, and data to identify changes that could impact item setup, production timing, material availability, or customer commitments.
• Drive clarity when direction is unclear by asking the right questions, aligning stakeholders, and documenting decisions.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to improve visibility, reduce rework, and help the team scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical field — required.
• Entry-level to early-career engineering experience preferred; motivated internal candidates with proven ownership and execution discipline are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several active projects and follow-ups concurrently.
• Comfortable influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority and driving alignment across shared responsibilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills — able to document decisions and present concise status updates and risk recommendations.
• Self-starter mindset with solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn product, systems, and operating processes.
• Ability to identify execution risks, resource constraints, and potential gaps before they become late-stage issues.
• Foundational understanding of manufacturing, packaging, supply chain, item setup, or project management is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle, Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, CAD, or similar systems is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated base (per source): $65,587 per year — estimated.
• Employment type: Full-time.
