Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join their Georgia region team based in Jonesboro, GA. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who enjoys problem solving, using data to make recommendations, and collaborating with construction teams to deliver projects safely and to standard.

Estimated salary: $86,064 per year (estimated)

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims)
• Assist and support the project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement and tracking of construction materials
• Perform Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
• Coordinate subcontractors and on-site trades
• Survey and project layout tasks
• Capture weekly progress photos and support progress reporting
• Manage and track construction equipment
• Support site safety management and compliance
• Assist with project estimating and cost tracking

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or entry-level roles count)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred)
• Familiarity with document control and basic project coordination
• Experience or coursework in construction methods, surveying, or estimating is a plus
• Willingness to relocate or travel for specific roles as required
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety and quality on construction sites
