Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join their Georgia region team based in Jonesboro, GA. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who enjoys problem solving, using data to make recommendations, and collaborating with construction teams to deliver projects safely and to standard.
Estimated salary: $86,064 per year (estimated)
Responsibilities
- Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims)
- Assist and support the project team with daily project coordination
- Procurement and tracking of construction materials
- Perform Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
- Coordinate subcontractors and on-site trades
- Survey and project layout tasks
- Capture weekly progress photos and support progress reporting
- Manage and track construction equipment
- Support site safety management and compliance
- Assist with project estimating and cost tracking
Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or entry-level roles count)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred)
- Familiarity with document control and basic project coordination
- Experience or coursework in construction methods, surveying, or estimating is a plus
- Willingness to relocate or travel for specific roles as required
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and quality on construction sites
