Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support construction projects in the Hammonton, CA area (Beale AFB / 95903). This is a hands-on, field-forward role where you will assist project teams with coordination, quality checks, document control, and estimating. This opportunity is a good fit for early-career engineers or recent graduates who enjoy problem solving, collaborating with teams, and applying data to make decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Support daily project coordination and communication with the project team
• Manage document control, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and claims
• Assist with procurement of construction materials and management of construction equipment
• Perform Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks and help enforce safety procedures
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor on-site performance
• Conduct survey work and project layout in the field
• Capture weekly site photos and prepare progress-report documentation
• Assist with project estimating and cost tracking

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience (internship, co-op, or prior employment is a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision making
• Comfortable working in the field and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
• Basic familiarity with construction processes, document control, and QA/QC preferred
• Willingness to relocate for specific assignments if required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local job sites

Compensation & Location

• Location: Hammonton, California (Beale AFB area), 95903
• Estimated base pay: $90,350 per year (estimated). Actual pay depends on experience, skills, and location. This role may be eligible for bonus and benefits.
