Overview

Confidential Client (Engineering) is hiring a Project Engineer (Entry Level) to join their construction project teams in Goodyear, AZ. This entry-level role emphasizes problem solving, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on support for daily project coordination. Applicants should be ready to work collaboratively with superintendents, subcontractors, and project managers on site.


Role details

  • Employment type: Contract; Full time
  • Estimated pay: $81,117 per year (estimated)
  • Location: Goodyear, AZ (may require relocation for specific roles)
  • Applicants should be prepared for fieldwork, site visits, and construction environment safety practices

Responsibilities

  • Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
  • Assist and support the project team with daily project coordination
  • Procurement and tracking of construction materials
  • Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
  • Coordination of subcontractors and on-site trades
  • Survey and project layout support
  • Weekly progress photos for reports
  • Manage construction equipment and inventory
  • Safety management and adherence to site safety plans
  • Support project estimating activities

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant experience (internships or co-ops count)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous internship, co-op, or related construction experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel between project locations as required
