Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Project Engineer based in Eagle River, AK. This role supports construction projects across Alaska (including Kodiak and Anchorage areas) and is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving problems, using data to inform decisions, and working collaboratively with project teams. You’ll help keep projects running smoothly by managing documentation, coordinating subcontractors, supporting quality and safety activities, and assisting with estimating and procurement.

What You’ll Do

• Document control — manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, and related records
• Support daily project coordination with the project team
• Assist with procurement of construction materials and tracking deliveries
• Perform Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks on-site
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and field crews
• Assist with survey tasks and project layout activities
• Capture weekly progress photos for reports
• Help manage construction equipment on site
• Support safety management and compliance on the project
• Contribute to project estimating tasks

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience (internship, co-op, or prior employment is applicable)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Familiarity with document control processes and construction QA/QC
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to coordinate with field and office teams
• Willingness to relocate or travel to project locations in Alaska as required for specific roles

• Estimated compensation: $106,839 per year (estimated)
