What You’ll Do

You will support and lead field execution on heavy civil, industrial, and infrastructure projects for a fast-growing construction firm. This role blends hands-on site supervision with project coordination and client communication.

  • Oversee daily site operations for bridge, water treatment, renewable energy, and heavy highway projects.
  • Coordinate daily job site activities to meet schedule milestones and quality standards.
  • Work with engineering teams and subcontractors to resolve field issues and implement design clarifications.
  • Track project progress, resource allocation, and material deliveries to control cost and schedule.
  • Lead safety briefings and enforce site safety and compliance protocols.
  • Prepare and submit site reports using project tech packages (daily logs, RFI tracking, progress photos).
  • Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and field crews to keep projects on track.
  • Travel occasionally to regional project sites for short-term assignments.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Open to entry-level candidates with strong foundational knowledge of construction principles.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite in the field full time.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to project sites.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients and crews.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple site tasks concurrently.
  • Commitment to jobsite safety and adherence to regulatory and company safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in heavy civil, highway, or industrial construction (preferred).
  • Familiarity with project scheduling, cost tracking, and structural/utility work workflows.
  • Experience using construction reporting/management software is a plus.
  • A self-starter who works well in teams and is motivated to grow in a construction leadership career.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience).
