Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Project Engineer / Construction Manager to support heavy civil, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This full-time role is based in Boulder, CO and will support Data Center, Industrial, and Heavy Highway project scopes. The position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience) and requires a valid driver’s license. Occasional short-term travel to project sites in other states is expected.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily site operations for complex bridge, water-treatment, renewable energy, and heavy-highway projects
- Coordinate field activities and subcontractors to meet schedule and quality targets
- Partner with engineering teams to resolve field issues and maintain safety and compliance
- Track project progress, resource allocation, and materials to control costs
- Communicate directly with clients, subcontractors, and field crews to drive successful outcomes
- Use mobile/desktop tech packages to streamline reporting, documentation, and workflow tracking
Minimum Qualifications
- Open to entry-level candidates with a solid understanding of construction principles
- Ability and willingness to work onsite and manage day-to-day heavy civil construction activities
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Strong communication, organization, and field problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in outdoor/construction environments and travelling to project sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in heavy civil, highway, or industrial construction (preferred)
- Familiarity with safety compliance, project scheduling, cost controls, and structural workflows
- Experience using site reporting / project management software
- Demonstrated teamwork and interest in career growth within a construction organization
