What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil) to support civil infrastructure projects. This is a field-forward, travel-heavy role (100% travel required) supporting construction planning, documentation, and on-site coordination.
- Coordinate work and correspondence between project team members, subcontractors, designers, and owners.
- Manage all construction project documentation, including submittal and RFI logs.
- Prepare, maintain, and track submittals and RFI responses based on drawings and specifications.
- Document and communicate scope changes and project impacts to the project team.
- Support bid solicitation and estimating activities as needed.
- Coordinate change proposal development, review, and submission.
- Participate in required construction meetings and site activities.
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety requirements on every project.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
- Internship or prior experience in sitework, concrete, grading, wastewater, or heavy civil work is desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel frequently and work on-site for extended periods.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience preparing submittals, RFIs, and construction logs.
- Familiarity with civil/site construction means and methods (grading, erosion control, concrete, underground utilities).
- Basic estimating or bid solicitation exposure.
