What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Project Engineer to support onsite and office-based project delivery for construction and restoration projects. You will assist the project manager and project team with project documentation, cost tracking, scheduling, and construction supervision to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Assist with on-site management to ensure project success and compliance with plans and specifications
- Maintain and manage project documentation, RFIs, and submittals
- Support scheduling activities and help keep the project plan on track to meet milestones
- Process owner billings and assist with project-related accounting and job-cost tracking
- Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and owner representatives as needed
- Use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite to prepare drawings, reports, and project documents
- Escalate risks, schedule impacts, and cost variances to the project manager
What We’re Looking For
Candidates who can balance field presence with strong administrative controls and clear communication will thrive in this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (including co-op or internship experience)
- Strong experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfortable working in a construction environment and coordinating across teams
- Attention to detail for project documentation, billing, and cost tracking
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base pay: $71,437 per year (estimated by the source posting)
