What You’ll Do

As a Project Engineer supporting the transportation team for Confidential Client in Asheville, NC, you will help deliver safe, on-time construction projects by supporting project coordination, quality controls, and field operations. You’ll work closely with project leadership, subcontractors and suppliers to keep documentation current and projects moving.

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims)
• Assist and support the project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement coordination for construction materials
• Perform Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
• Coordinate subcontractors on-site and support scheduling
• Survey and project layout support
• Capture weekly progress photos and support progress reporting
• Manage construction equipment and track usage
• Support safety management and site compliance
• Assist with project estimating activities

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in construction or engineering roles
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous internship, co-op, or construction experience is a plus
• Experience with document control, RFIs and submittals preferred
• Familiarity with QC/QA processes, basic surveying/layout, and estimating
• Willingness to relocate if specific roles require it

• Estimated pay: $82,138 per year (estimated)
