About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring a Project Coordinator to support IT project delivery in Wilmington, DE. This entry-level project management role focuses on project administration, schedule coordination, documentation management (SharePoint), and supporting communication across internal teams and clients. The Project Coordinator may be assigned Minor Projects and will work under the guidance of a Regional Project Manager.


What You’ll Do

  • Maintain project documentation and artifacts in the systems of record per Confidential Client standards; store and govern documents in SharePoint.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and resources across internal teams and with clients.
  • Track tasks, milestones, dependencies, and action items; follow up with owners to keep work on schedule.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting notes, and action summaries.
  • Assist with project onboarding, kickoff preparation, and close-out activities.
  • Support basic project financial and operational setup (confirm approvals, track billing readiness, time entry, expenses).
  • Support change request documentation and routing for written customer approval prior to execution.
  • Execute standard project activities on Minor Projects as assigned (task coordination, status reporting, scope adherence), escalating risks or scope changes to the Regional Project Manager.
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements to standard templates, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, or operational support.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time-management capability.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Planner, Teams, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Experience with ConnectWise PSA or similar PSA platforms is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an MSP or IT services environment.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred.
  • Exposure to formal methodologies such as Agile or ITIL.
  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career in project management.

Career Progression

This role is designed as a developmental pathway into a Regional Project Manager role. Progression expectations include independently managing Minor Projects with minimal escalations, strong mastery of project artifacts and ConnectWise workflows, effective client and internal communications, and active pursuit of PM certification (CAPM or PMP).
