What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Project Coordinator role supporting lab operations and cross-functional projects. You will help keep projects on schedule by managing meetings, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project documentation.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, capture meeting minutes, and maintain action-item and decision logs
- Track project deliverables and follow up on document approvals, including design control documentation, under the direction of Program Managers
- Maintain and update project schedules and Gantt charts to keep status and timelines accurate
- Schedule and coordinate project team meetings and manage logistics to remove blockers quickly
- Adapt to shifting priorities and support multiple projects or programs simultaneously
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline — or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0–2 years of experience in a project support, administrative, or coordination role (internships and co-ops count)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools; willingness to learn new systems quickly
- A proactive, dependable, team-oriented approach
Nice to Have
- Coursework or exposure to life sciences, molecular biology, or genetics
- Familiarity with project tracking concepts such as Gantt charts, action-item logs, or project schedules
- Experience with tools like Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or SharePoint
Work Environment
This is primarily an office-based role. You will use a computer keyboard, communicate by phone and video, and read printed and digital materials. Occasional work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
This posting lists a good-faith estimate for base pay. Final compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and other lawful considerations.
