What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Project Coordinator to provide administrative, organizational, and entry-level project management support for IT delivery teams. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role focused on keeping projects on schedule, maintaining accurate documentation, and enabling clear communication across internal teams and customers.

  • Maintain project documentation and artifacts in the approved repository (SharePoint) per governance standards
  • Coordinate project schedules, meetings, resources, and onboarding/kickoff activities
  • Track tasks, milestones, dependencies, and action items; follow up with owners and escalate when needed
  • Support Minor Project execution under Regional Project Manager oversight: task coordination, status updates, basic reporting, scope adherence
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting notes, and action summaries
  • Assist with finance and operational setup checks (ConnectWise Opportunity, customer-signed quote, approved SOW) prior to project start
  • Track time entry, expense documentation, and billing readiness as directed
  • Support change request routing and documentation for customer approval in accordance with standards
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements; help adopt standardized tools and workflows

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years’ experience in project coordination, project administration, or operational support
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Planner, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise PSA or similar PSA platforms is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an MSP or IT services environment
  • CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) preferred
  • Exposure to Agile, ITIL, or other formal project management methodologies
  • Motivation to pursue a long-term project management career path

Career Progression

This role is designed as a developmental pathway into Regional Project Manager roles. Progression is based on demonstrated independent delivery of Minor Projects, mastery of project artifacts and PSA workflows, strong communication, certification pursuit (CAPM®/PMP®), and positive leadership feedback.
