About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring a Project Coordinator — Interior Design to support Health Market projects in Birmingham, AL. This is a full-time, permanent role focused on supporting design teams across programming, design development, construction documents, and construction administration under the mentorship of licensed interior designers.
- Estimated salary: $50,698 per year (estimated)
Key Responsibilities
- Learn core skills and processes to grow as an entry-level interior design professional under NCIDQ‑certified designers.
- Support design phases from programming and concept through construction documents.
- Assist with client deliverables, material selection, and documentation.
- Participate in construction administration tasks, including site visits and coordination.
- Apply quality control processes to ensure client satisfaction and deliverable accuracy.
- Use Revit, AutoCAD, and other tools to produce drawings, renderings, and presentation materials.
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior design (entry-to‑mid level).
- Strong concept development and visual communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD; experience with Rhino, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, Enscape or other 3D tools is a plus.
- Pursuing licensure (NCIDQ track) is encouraged.
- LEED accreditation and/or EDAC certification is a plus.
