What You’ll Do
This Project Coordinator II will support program operations and project delivery for a Confidential Client in the Scientific & QA industry. You will work closely with the Program Manager to keep projects on schedule, manage logistics and assets, maintain project documentation, and produce program metrics and reports.
- Coordinate day-to-day program activities and assigned discrete projects to meet deadlines
- Track shipment/receipt of assets and parts; initiate shipping and warehouse processing when required
- Verify receipt and return of assets and maintain custody records
- Produce program metrics and status reports using Business Intelligence tools and MS Excel
- Maintain project records, take meeting minutes, and ensure documentation is stored and accessible
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to provide updates and clarify details
- Identify potential project risks and escalate to project leadership
- Follow applicable ITAR, TINA, FAR, export compliance, safety, and security requirements
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and control assigned discrete projects or activities
- Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and quality
- Maintain up-to-date project and product documentation
- Prepare status reports and program metrics (BI / Excel)
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to track parts and shipments
- Escalate schedule or risk issues promptly to program leadership
- Engage in process improvement and help implement positive operational changes
Qualifications
- Minimum: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred (5+ years functional experience may substitute)
- 1–3 years of relevant functional experience (per source)
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, and Project
- Experience creating reports or dashboards with Business Intelligence tools preferred
- Basic knowledge of project management methods, tools, and techniques
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear written/oral communication
- Ability to work with regulated compliance frameworks (ITAR, FAR, export compliance, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate risks when needed
