What You’ll Do
This entry-level Project Coordinator will support day-to-day operations for a manufacturing client that produces prototype and low-volume machined castings. You will help keep projects on schedule, maintain accurate records in the ERP, and coordinate workflow between engineering and production teams.
- Assist with entering and updating job status, timelines, and related data in the ERP system.
- Organize, route, and maintain physical and digital job folders between engineering and manufacturing.
- Attend daily production meetings, job kick-offs, and weekly WIP reviews to capture notes and action items.
- Support customer and vendor communications by helping prepare status updates and following up on orders.
- Document job updates, customer change requests, and scope revisions alongside senior staff.
- Accurately record daily timekeeping; submit overtime requests for manager approval when required.
- Occasional travel (approximately 10%) for customer or vendor visits under senior supervision.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications expected for success in this role:
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, Operations, or Industrial Technology is a plus.
- Fundamental computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn blueprint reading and basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, CNC machining, or foundry concepts is helpful but not required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good verbal/written communication.
- Comfortable learning manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated annual pay (from source): $56,914 (estimated).
