Overview

This Project Coordinator role supports customer-driven manufacturing projects from order entry through production and shipment for a Confidential Client in the engineering space. The position coordinates customers, engineering, purchasing, production, and scheduling to ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and within documentation controls.

  • Location: Bossier City, LA
  • Employment type: Full-time / Contractor
  • Estimated pay: $53,144 per year (estimated)
  • Note: Confidential Client welcomes both entry-level and experienced candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, construction products, architectural systems, or engineered-to-order environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate multiple manufacturing projects from kickoff through production, shipment, and closeout.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact for schedules, approvals, and project updates.
  • Support engineering, estimating, purchasing, and production teams with timely project documentation and communication.
  • Track project schedules, costs, billing documentation, and change orders.
  • Enter and manage sales orders, timelines, and documentation in an ERP system (ECi M1).
  • Maintain organized project files: drawings, submittals, RFIs, specifications, and closeout records.
  • Identify potential schedule or production risks and escalate when needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to project workflows and documentation.

Qualifications

Entry-Level Candidates

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Business, or related field OR relevant internship/work experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in manufacturing processes and project coordination.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Experienced Candidates

  • Prior experience in project coordination, project management support, or manufacturing administration.
  • Experience managing project schedules, customer communications, and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with change orders, billing processes, and production coordination preferred.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications is a plus.

Skills & Tools

  • Strong organization and documentation-management skills.
  • Clear and professional customer-facing communication.
  • Financial awareness: job cost tracking, billing support, and forecasting assistance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP experience (ECi M1 preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated pay: $53,144 per year (estimated).
