Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Project Controls Sr Associate to support project cost and schedule controls for engineering projects. This is an advanced entry-level Project Controls role that may be assigned to Scheduling, Cost Engineering, or a combination of both. The role supports project forecasting, cost reporting, change management, invoice support, and schedule analysis while working under general supervision.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform routine project controls tasks consistent with training and experience.
  • Support project forecasting and maintain project cost reports and cash flow with supervision.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting inputs.
  • Support change management processes and provide invoice back-up documentation.
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of summary schedules, fragnets, and resource loading.
  • Prepare and maintain productivity reports and assist with critical path and float analysis.
  • Facilitate quantity management reporting.
  • Learn and apply constructability concepts and understand functional interfaces across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost control support, including maintaining project cost reports and cash flow.
  • Assist in preparing input for periodic reports and invoice support.
  • Maintain change management program documentation.
  • Assist scheduling team with summary schedules, fragnets, resource loading, and productivity reporting.
  • Support critical path and float analysis and other schedule reviews.
  • Collaborate across project teams as an individual contributor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree with one or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience; OR
  • No four-year degree required with five years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in a home office or field office.
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search as permitted by applicable law.
  • This position is full-time. Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Familiarity with project controls systems and reporting.
  • Basic understanding of constructability and project management concepts.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Position may offer hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, performance, and work assignments.
  • Typical office and occasional field work; must be able to perform duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated annual pay (source posting): $77,475 per year (estimated).
