What You’ll Do
The Project Controls Specialist I supports project delivery by maintaining project financials, schedules, and performance reporting. This is an entry-level role that works closely with project managers and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain budgets, cost estimates and forecasts; track actual costs and perform variance analysis
- Create and update project schedules; monitor progress and identify schedule risks
- Input, maintain and verify project financials and related data in the ERP system (Oracle preferred)
- Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards and performance metrics for stakeholders
- Support coordination with engineering firms, equipment vendors and construction contractors
- Identify opportunities to improve project data integrity and reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0–1 years of professional experience (entry-level)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; Oracle experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to interpret project data
- Good verbal and written communication skills; able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, multi-faceted work environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Frequent computer use; must be able to operate a computer for extended periods
- Must be able to remain stationary approximately 50% of the time
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

- Location: Pittsburgh, PA (on-site or client-determined)
- Estimated pay: $79,458 per year (estimated)
