What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Project Assistant to support litigation and transactional teams. This hybrid role provides hands-on experience across case lifecycles and deal support under the supervision of paralegals and attorneys.

  • Assist with initial case setup, data analytics, and organization
  • Support paralegals with eDiscovery tasks (loading/searching documents, pulling transcripts, designations)
  • Organize, file, and manage case-related and client documents (electronic and hard copy)
  • Prepare case and trial binders; assemble and distribute closing sets
  • Track, log, and enter case information into client management systems and databases
  • Assist with deposition logistics and witness file preparation
  • Conduct online research (fact-checking, cite checking, expert research) and pull docket/case info
  • Support trial logistics, pre-trial planning, and provide in-person support at trial, arbitration, or mediation when needed
  • Assist with post-trial tasks and due diligence organization
  • Coordinate with internal departments and outside vendors to accomplish tasks
  • Maintain client entity records (minute books, client files) and update client database entries
  • Meet an annual billable target of approximately 1,050 hours

  • Ability to learn quickly and apply training to practical tasks

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism

  • Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed

  • Hybrid on-site requirement: at least three days per week in the office

  • Preferred technical skills (or demonstrated aptitude to learn):

    • Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
    • Experience or exposure to PACER, Westlaw, Lexis, Relativity, or other litigation platforms a plus
    • Familiarity with DocuSign, SharePoint, or secure file transfer tools is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • No specific prior experience required — this is an entry-level opportunity suitable for recent graduates or candidates with some administrative/support experience who want to build a career in litigation support or transactional paralegal work

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $50,000 – $60,000 per year (range provided by confidential client)
