What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Project Analyst to support real estate investment advisory work. In this role you will work across portfolio strategy, asset management, capital markets, and acquisition/disposition activities. Typical responsibilities include:

• Support investor-facing projects including portfolio strategy, investment analysis, asset positioning, benchmarking, and asset management
• Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, development advisory, due diligence, entitlements, and project feasibility analyses
• Build, maintain, and update financial models and forecasts (Argus and Excel experience highly valuable)
• Prepare clear written financial reports and presentations that translate complex analysis into actionable insights
• Participate in client meetings and property/site visits to gather data and evaluate opportunities
• Contribute to project budgeting, financial benchmarking, and ad-hoc analytic requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Development, Finance, or a related field
• Academic success — typically a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for early-career candidates
• Understanding of real estate investment and finance analytics
• Experience assisting with development or construction projects is a plus
• Strong technical aptitude with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with financial modeling and familiarity with Argus preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize complex results for non-technical audiences
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Confidential Client may consider qualified bilingual candidates in Japanese/English or Chinese/English per internal recruiting policies.

This is an exempt, full-time position that may require local, national, and occasional international travel.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $75,000 per year (listed)
• Competitive benefits package for eligible employees, typically including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) options, flexible time off, and other employer-provided benefits. Eligibility and specifics depend on position and hours worked.

Location & Work Model

• Primary location: Southfield, MI
• Principally in-person model with flexibility to coordinate work location with your supervisor and team
• Occasional travel for client meetings and site visits may be required
