Primary responsibilities

Confidential Client’s Marketing Technology team seeks an entry-level Production Programmer focused on supporting ETL, reporting and campaign operations. You will learn by doing: executing, monitoring, QCing, and documenting existing processes while you build SQL and ETL skills.

• Monitor automated processes and ETL data feeds for successful completion
• Execute and review process QC reports and escalate issues
• Run existing scripts to update the data warehouse (DWH) and generate client reports
• Perform QC to confirm DWH completeness and report accuracy
• Review and update internal Wiki/documentation to reflect current procedures
• Provide clear feedback to internal customers and stakeholders on report quality
• Assist with minor report updates and ad-hoc report generation
• Save work with careful documentation for QC and repeatability

Responsibilities (after training)

• Troubleshoot production automation failures and investigate root causes
• Automate and improve existing production code where appropriate
• Set up new ETL scripts and QC for incoming client data feeds
• Track expected client file arrivals and notify the team if files are missing
• Move files/assets from FTP/MoveIT/email to correct folders, and notify stakeholders
• Use and document workflows in JIRA and internal Wiki as part of standard operations

Required qualifications & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (required)
• Willingness to learn SQL and ETL tools on the job
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred (not required):

• Any prior direct-marketing experience or technical certifications
• Hands-on exposure to FTP/MoveIT, JIRA, or DWH concepts

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $63,000 - $73,000 per year
