What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry‑level Production Planner (Marine) to support program schedule development and execution in Custom House, LA. In this role you will help develop, maintain, and report on program schedules that integrate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and test activities.

  • Develop and maintain the Program Integrated Master Plan / master schedule for programs from RFP through closeout.
  • Integrate program activities across program management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and test.
  • Integrate schedule data with the cost baseline and ensure schedule/cost consistency.
  • Establish schedule logic, predecessors/successors, and identify the program critical path.
  • Create and update schedule performance metrics and tools, including critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
  • Advise Program Managers and Control Account Managers on schedule performance, forecasts and risks.
  • Support schedule reviews, corrective actions and continuous improvement of planning processes.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to gather, analyze and summarize data to inform decisions.
  • Solid interpersonal and negotiating skills; resourceful problem solver who adapts quickly to change.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; candidates must meet eligibility requirements (including U.S. citizenship where required for classified work).
