Role Overview

This opportunity is with a confidential client in the engineering sector. The Production Control Analyst supports the flow of assemblies, subassemblies, and components through manufacturing to help ensure production schedules are met. This is an excellent entry-level to early-career role for candidates interested in production planning, manufacturing operations, and supply chain coordination in a mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Track engine assemblies, subassemblies, and components through the manufacturing process
• Monitor daily production priorities and support execution of scheduled work orders
• Identify issues that may impact timelines (material shortages, quality holds, tooling delays, documentation gaps, engineering clarifications) and escalate as needed
• Support daily production meetings by gathering updates and communicating schedule priorities
• Help track key production metrics (schedule adherence, work order completion, WIP) and assist with recovery actions when schedules fall behind
• Maintain accurate work order data in ERP/MRP and MES systems and support related data entry and reporting
• Communicate production priorities clearly to shop floor personnel and coordinate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce bottlenecks and improve production flow

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred)
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production support, supply chain, operations, or related field; internship or co-op experience welcome
• Exposure to ERP/MRP systems or production tracking tools preferred
• Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, scheduling, or operations concepts through education or prior experience

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic analytical and problem-solving ability
• Effective communicator; able to work across multiple teams
• Comfortable following structured processes and supporting production priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency (data entry, simple reporting, basic formulas)
• Strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn on the job
• Collaborative approach with supervisors, technicians, engineers, and support functions

Nice to Have

• Internship or co-op experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing
• Exposure to SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP/MRP systems
• Familiarity with production scheduling, shop-floor control, lean, or continuous improvement concepts

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated salary: $106,155 per year (estimated)
• Benefits package typically includes medical, dental, life, short- and long-term disability from day one, 401(k) with company match, bonus eligibility, and equity opportunities (offered by the confidential client)

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required.
